CZF Plus is a disinfectant and hardener for use in footbaths. It has been developed in collaboration with eminent podiatrists and is highly effective for the treatment of foot rot, especially in wet weather conditions.

CZF Plus For Use On Sheep & Goats

CZF Plus will aid in preventing Foot Rot, Scald, Shelly Foot, Digital Dermatitis (DD) and Contagious Ovine Digital Dermatitis (CODD) in Sheep and Goats. Regular hoof care for sheep and goats will keep them healthy and happy.

Using CZF Plus Footbath Solution will give your Sheep and Goats the necessary hoof care to avoid becoming infected with lameness and other foot-related aislements.

CZF Plus For Use On Cattle

One of our leading cattle footbath products is CZF Plus. When it comes to hoof care for cattle, CZF Plus can aid in the continued prevention of Foot Rot and Digital Dermatitis (DD) in cattle.

Roughly 20% of all lameness in cattle is due to Foot Rot alone which is why it’s so important to find the correct treatment. Regular use of CZF Plus as a part of your hoof care routine will keep diseases and infections at bay and keep your cattle feet healthy.

CZF Plus Information & Application

CZF Plus Used On Sheeps & Goats - Protect Your Cattle From Footrot

CZF Plus for Sheep and Goats:

Normally used as curative, but advisable as a preventive
Low dosage rates: 5 to 10%
More effective than just formalin
Allows up to 1,000 sheep per bath
As a preventive, 1 bath per week
With goats, use a plastic foam mat in the foot bath, to prevent the animals from seeing the liquid. Otherwise they will jump over it

Start at a 10% dilution rate for the first footbath and if no major hoof problems, reduce to no less than 4% as maintenance only. Adjust the rate depending on the conditions.

CZF Plus Used On Cattle - Protect Your Cattle From Footrot

CZF Plus for Cattle:

Sufficient for 400 animals per bath
Low dosage rates: 2 to 5%
2 treatments per week.

To reduce the challenge start at a 5% rate 3 -4 times a week and as things improve, gradually reduce the dilution rate to 4% then 3% and if all continues to go well, you can then footbath 2-3 times a week. Low dosage at 2% for maintenance only.

How To Apply CZF Plus - Keep Your Animal Free From Footrot

CZF Plus Application

Apply as a 4% solution in water, twice a week, in a single pass.
As a preventive measure, in times of extended damp periods the dose can be increased to 5 -10%
Please allow animals to stand on clean, dry ground after leaving the footbath to prevent a bacterial challenge while the hooves are still soft and open
