About Us
Want to learn about Northern Agricultural Merchants Ltd, the company behind CZF & CZ Hoof products was established in 2017 by Kevin Hare & Sue Shanahan.
Many Years Of Experience
Kevin’s background is 100% agriculture mainly within, but not exclusively, to dairy cattle, showing & stock judging. Kevin has worked with and managed many herds in Wales, the Midlands, Cumbria and Yorkshire over many years, with a wealth of knowledge of most aspects of farming with the aim to always have the best interest of the animals as a priority. Having then set up an agricultural business in the mid 80’s while still having a hands on role on farms, enabled him to keep up to date with new products and technology always putting the animals first.
Sue has worked in sales for many years with the last 15 working in the agricultural industry, with more of a focus on nutrition and qualifying as an RSQP animal health advisor for farm, companion & equine animals.
Finding A Footbath Solution
An opportunity arose to develop an excellent footbath solution, knowing that when an animal, cattle & sheep, have hoof problems it has a huge knock on effect to other aspects of their wellbeing and health. With the aid of a chemist the product was improved and developed further for maximum benefit to ensure that it is a leading animal hoof product in the UK. CZF Plus & CZ Footbath Solutions (Certified by the OF&G for Organic Farms) are now widely available in the UK from a large number of distributors.
The CZ Hoof Cream has also been developed with the aid of a chemist ensuring that only the correct amount of active chemicals are used, as excessive use is bad for the animals, the environment and the farmers pocket.
CZF Plus Footbath Solution, unique, proven highly visual formulation.
CZ Hoof Cream, tried and tested product. Aids in healing wounds and infections.
“We have used several footbath products on our sheep flock over the years and have finally found one that works, in the form of CZF Plus. We found it worked brilliantly on scald and would recommend this to any and all sheep farmers.”
